Within four minutes, my graffiti was deleted as vandal-script, by the user, Indon. Indon’s profile quotation is, “Life is too short, Wikipedia is too big, POV pushers are plaguing, vandals and spammers are encroaching, while good editors are leaving” (http://en.wikipedia.org). Indon is obviously very passionate about protecting Wikipedia from vandals, like me. This again, supports the structure of collaborative peer production. All changes made on the site are posted on the history page, and anyone can view this. Automatic robots are enlisted to repair obvious acts of defacement; anything missed is often picked up by users such as Indon. For my second act of vandalism, I deleted the final sentence from the section Boat Storage and Boathouses, “Boathouses are usually rather attractive buildings...”
